Our Story

Located just outside of Washington, D.C. in the heart of Northern Virginia, the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center is the ideal destination venue. Our contemporary style hotel built in 2015 features over 15,000 square feet of magnificent event space to comfortably host up to 350 guests in our luxurious Regency Ballroom. Designed entirely from the idea of "high fashion," Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center is connected to one of the most fashion-forward shopping centers in the United States, Tysons Corner Center Mall.

Carefully designed, the interior elements and architecural choices tie back to the world of fashion, paying special attention to the mixture of masculine and feminine. The materials within the hotel are selected to represent various elements of the fashion industry and provide guests with glamorous experience.

From start to finish our Wedding Specialist Cristine played a HUGE part into making our special day nothing but perfect. She did everything in their power to accommodate us and make us happy throughout this process. All response times were wicked fast and there was support in every way possible to make us feel so comfortable. Even if it meant talking to 2 sets of parents and having the same conversation 3 separate times!! The extreme attention to detail was out of this world... in addition, she brought topics to our attention and offered such great ideas during our planning process and sessions. When we needed something, she snapped her fingers and made it happen to accommodate us! The day went extremely smoothly from our perspective and from the feedback we heard from guests. The staff was on point and the food was very good! This team really delivered on their word here and anyone that is thinking about having a wedding here needs to understand that they are dealing with true professionals and that this is the hotel to do business with!!

James Lao was a dream to work with! I am actually a bit sad that I won't be in a constant contact with him anymore! He made things so easy and you could tell he had years and years of experience with his advice, professionalism, and excellent customer service. He was very personable and fun which helps when you are stressing about a million things! James also focused on making the wedding as genuine and personal which I appreciated - he had great ideas and thoughts! The entire staff was friendly and professional but also just genuinely excited for my husband and I and our wedding day. It was a very warm and happy atmosphere! The venue is modern and does not have a corporate feel. It has high ceilings with a huge ballroom but also had smaller options with terraces and flexible walls. The attention to detail such as the lighting, carpet, and materials really makes the hotel stand out! I highly recommend this venue for your wedding - the mall and metro is right there. Food was a uhge priorty for us- they definitely pulled out all the stops at the food tating as well! Overall, thank you Hyatt for making our wedding day amazing! All our guests loved their rooms, loved the food, loved the venue, and had so much fun! What else could you ask for?!

The venue is absolutely beautiful. The customer service at The Hyatt was amazing and very accommodating. We worked hand-in-hand with James for a full year and he and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure our vision came true! Venues

We offer the modern elegance, combined with authentic hospitality. Our reception venues offer gorgeous views and stunning spaces for every couple to enjoy. Ceremony fees start at $1,500.

Regency Ballroom

The 7,000-square-foot ballroom is chic and breathtaking. Its dramatic twenty-one foot ceilings are the tallest in Northern Virginia. No matter your design, the Regency Ballroom is the perfect wedding venue for upwards of 350 guests.

Peach Grove

With amazing Tysons Corner Center Plaza views, Peach Grove is an incredible and modern space that features 17-foot, floor-to-ceiling windows that provide tremendous natural light and beautiful urban views from your private outdoor terrace for 70 guests.

Fourth Floor Terraced Rooms

For a more intimate wedding, the Fourth Floor rooms are bathed in natural lighting with floor to ceiling 12' windows and contemporary lighting. These rooms play up its modern flair, featuring an outdoor terrace that overlooks the elevated plaza and Tysons Corner Center.

Delicious and irresistible dining offerings and a private tasting creates an environment to inspire and guide you toward the perfect reception for you and your guests. Choose from among the following customizable styles of service.

Dinner Service

Plated - guests are seated and served an elegant, two course meal. This style of service allows you to plan your wedding menu with confidence, giving you the opportunity to choose each course in advance.

Buffet - casual & efficient, a great way to offer variety from regionally inspired cuisine to customized selections.
Personal Preference - allows your guests to personalize their dining experience at your wedding. They will be treated to a lavish four course meal with their choice of four different entrees.

Outside catering is allowed for religious and cultural preferences, please ask your wedding specialist for more information.

Details

Confirmation of Space and Deposits

An initial non-refundable deposit of twenty five percent (25%) of the minimum is required to confirm your date along with a signed agreement. The estimated final charges are due twelve (12) days prior to the event.

Menus

We welcome the opportunity to create menus designed for you, and selections are due fourteen (14) days prior to your event with entree counts. Please ask your Wedding Specialist.

Vendor Meals

What better way to thank your vendors for their work than with a hot meal! Our Chef will select a delicious entree for $65 per vendor.

Children's Meals

Make even your littlest guests feel special with their own meal. Please ask your Wedding Specialist.

Guarantee

A final guarantee is due seven (7) days prior to your event. Once received, this number may not be reduced. We will be prepared to serve 3% over the final guaranteed number.

Decor Upgrades

Choose your chivari chair along with white, black, or navy blue linens and pair them with a white or black napkin. Specialty fabrics, linens, chair covers and up lighting are available for additional charges.

Guest Accommodations

A room block may be setup for guests attending your event at the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner. Check in time is 4:00pm, and check out time is 11:00am. If you would like to setup a block of rooms, a minimum of fifteen guestrooms must be guaranteed or the prevailing hotel rate will be offered.

Welcome Packets and Gift Bags

Gifts can be handed at check in, or delivered to your guests' room for $3.00 per bag after check in.

Wedding Coordination

A professional wedding coordinator is required to assist you and your guests with the wedding rehearsal, ceremony, reception and timing throughout your day.

After your guests have kicked off their shoes and have been dancing up a storm, providing a late night bite can keep the party going.

Food Truck

Ask your wedding specialist about the possibility of adding a late night food truck. Our ballroom prefunction space can accommodate your local favorite!

Send Off Brunch

The perfect ending to the perfect weekend. Treat your overnight guests to breakfast the next day. This final touch will allow you to reminisce about the wedding and wish everyone farewell before you leave for your honeymoon.
